The latest name to be added to the Raiders roster for this season is forward Dan Rose who returns for his second season on the Island.
24 year old Dan started his career at Slough ice rink playing junior hockey there before progressing to the Slough Jets. He made just shy of 100 appearances in the EPL before moving to Bracknell Hornets in the 2014-2015 season. In his first season as a Raider he scored 9 goals with 27 assists in 46 games.
Head coach Jeremy Cornish says Dan was one of the first players he wanted back for the new season.
“Dan was a must to sign back this year. One of the nicest men I have had the pleasure to coach. He can play any forward position and is very effective. Even though he is a quiet guy, he leads by example and always shows up for the big games. Dan played center last year and I’m not sure that’s his favourite place to play, but I like him down the middle. He finishes his hits and can chip in with offence. Smart player and I’m looking forward to seeing how he does during his second year on the island.”
