Chris Cooke returns…2 depart..

Another player returning for the new season will be reliable defenceman Chris Cooke who returns for his third year with the team. The 21 year old former Guildford junior has become an important member of the squad since joining us from Invicta Dynamos early in the 2014-2015 season. He made 36 appearances on the blue line last year with 2 goals and 7 assists. Chris has also played a season in the EPL with Guildford Flames.

Head coach Jeremy Cornish says Chris was one of the first players he contacted after the season ended.

“He was one of our most improved players last year and played some big minutes for us. He will once again be a part of one of our top D pairings and will play against some of the other team’s top lines. Chris is a good hockey player and very good in our locker room.”

We can also confirm the departure of two players who’ve made over 200 appearances for the team. Craig Tribe and Bobby Streetly have both announced they’ll be moving on to pastures new and we’d like to wish them all the very best in their future hockey careers.
