Wightlink Raiders can today confirm that young forward Ryan Webb will return in September for his second season with the club.

21 year old Ryan was one of the stars of last season’s play off championship winning team with 10 goals and 12 assists from his 52 games.  The former Guildford junior also played for GB juniors and prior to joining the Raiders had EPL experience with Slough Jets and Bracknell Bees.  He also played over 120 NIHL games at Bracknell Hornets netting 36 times.

Ryan Webb is third forward confirmed for the new season along with coach Jeremy Cornish and new signing Danny Ingoldsby.  Cornish says Ryan was one of the first names he wanted to re-sign this summer.

“Ryan has a terrific skill set and is one of the fastest skaters in the league. He is a proper hockey player who has made a big impact on our club since he joined us last year. I am expecting a big year from him and I know he is looking forward to getting started. “

More signings will be announced soon with the new NIHL season set to start at Ryde Arena in September.
