This team is making progress.

Sunday night we came away from the Riverside in Chelmsford with a point and to be totally honest I think we played one of our best games of the year. It was a pretty tight game and we once again out shot them by a large margin. We have played them pretty close this year and it was finally good to outplay them and take away a point from their league hopes.
The team looks as though they are improving every week and one thing that has been very apparent is that we play our best when giving 100 percent and buying into what we have been trying to teach them all season. It’s taken some time for this team to come together, but we have been playing some good, entertaining hockey of late.
This upcoming weekend is massive for this club, we face Chelmsford in the league cup and then travel away to Oxford on the Sunday. Chelmsford haven’t yet been to the Arena this season and reflecting back at our last two visits to the Riverside it will hopefully the best game of the season.
Sunday we travel back to Oxford and we suffered a horrible defeat to them early in the season. These games are always tricky, but one thing I do know is that the guys will be looking for some revenge from that defeat.
I was really impressed with the crowd on Saturday against Basingstoke and I’m hoping we can even get more fans into the arena to help pump the guys up. We are really looking forward to this cup game on Saturday against Chelmsford and I hope everyone is excited for this game.
See you Saturday,
JC
